What are you up to these days? Have you graduated? Are you working? How did your experience in Barcelona have an impact on your life?
Barcelona SAE has opened new doors for me to express my creativity which made this a valuable experience.
If you were to sum up your Barcelona experience in one to two words, what would you say? My Barcelona Experience is…
Continuous adventure
Explain why you chose those words.
There is always something to do. Barcelona SAE does a great job of keeping you in touch with the city and it ultimately comes down to what you make it.
What was your favorite place to eat in Barcelona? Favorite food?
On of my favorite is Ciudad Condal for lunch. It’s always busy- one of the best tapas places near Passeig de Gracia.
What was your favorite tour, day trip, or cultural activity? Why?
Montserrat hike day- it was just a really good day and to have a trip with planned transportation there and back. I also enjoyed the neighborhood tours and the flamenco night.
If you had one perfect day in Barcelona where would you go, and what would you do?
Get breakfast at Milk or Brunch & Cake, walk around born, go to Picasso museum, walk Park Citaduella, go surfing on the beach, eat lunch at Bo De B or Maka Maka. Go to Sagrada Familia or Tibidabo,
What was something you were surprised to learn about Barcelona or Spain? Or what aspect of the country or city were you least expecting?
Adjust to the way and speed of life here. The motor bikes also go really fast and people abide the pedestrian regulations. When it says don’t walk, you probably shouldn’t because motorists drive without worrying that a pedestrian could be jaywalking.
What is one piece of advice that you have for future students coming to Barcelona?
Focus on a skill or hobby of yours and opportunity may come from it. Do treat this as a vacation but don’t lose focus of who you are or what your goals are.
