Currently based in Barcelona, Katie (she/her/hers/ella) is a southern California native that has held a keen passion for immersive travel and education since her first trip abroad to India in high school. Soon after, she interned for a summer in Costa Rica and studied for a semester in Ecuador while earning her double B.A. in Spanish and Sociology. After graduation and a semester of teaching Spanish to high school students in the U.S., she set off to teach English in Spain, first in the Basque Country and later in Barcelona. Katie loves Barcelona for its unparalleled energy, and in her free time, she enjoys trying her hand at new recipes, going to the beach (especially in the winter!), and spending quality time with her loved ones.
