My experience in Barcelona was so wonderful and a lot of fun. Barcelona truly felt like my home, and I was so comfortable and calm there.

What was your favorite place to eat in Barcelona? Favorite food?

My mind goes straight to a burger place, but I won’t say that…so probably a paella place down near Plaça Espanya.

What was your favorite tour, day trip, or cultural activity? Why?

My favorite activity was the Cava tour and Sitges. It was a lot of fun…however, I wasn’t able to go to Pais Vasco, so I’m sure that would have been first!

Is there a site in Barcelona that you would recommend to future students that may be a little more “off the beaten path”?

Head up to Gracia, as it’s more of a local’s area.

What was something you were surprised to learn about Barcelona or Spain? Or what aspect of the country or city were you least expecting?

I would eat brunch, go up to the mountain and then make it the beach for sunset and drinks.
