What was your favorite place to eat in Barcelona? Favorite food?
Brunch and Cake, because it is essentially heaven on earth. I loved the acai bowls!
What was your favorite tour, day trip, or cultural activity? Why?
The Sagrada Familia was the most incredible structure I have ever been in, the moment I opened my eyes to see the ceiling of the interior I actually cried. It was so full of history and insane craftsmanship that I was completely blown away.
Is there a site in Barcelona that you would recommend to future students that may be a little more “off the beaten path”?
There is a market in Barceloneta just off of the main drag and it is a lovely place to have a picnic, or grab some lunch to go to the beach. It is also an incredibly modern structure and provides a unique contrast to the surrounding buildings.
If you had one perfect day in Barcelona where would you go, and what would you do?
I would wake up early and walk though the Parc de la Ciutadella to Barceloneta, and then have brunch and cake, then I would lounge on the beach for a bit and head to the old city to visit a museum. At night, I would have dinner at Ququ and head to one of the clubs later on.
