What was your favorite place to eat in Barcelona? Favorite food?

Favorite place to eat was Bo de B. I loved to grab a sandwich (they are SO good) and sit down by the port or the beach on a nice day. It was great to enjoy the food and the people walking around you.

What was your favorite tour, day trip, or cultural activity? Why?

I really enjoyed the cooking class. Living in a homestay, my host mother did most of the cooking so we enjoyed traditional Spanish food, but never had the opportunity to make it. It was fun to work together with friends to make our traditional meal and enjoy the finished product together.

Is there a site in Barcelona that you would recommend to future students that may be a little more “off the beaten path”?

Walk around the El Born barrio. These narrow streets hide so many unique shopping stores and good restaurants. You can find fun clothing stores, bars, and food places down there. Must go!

What is one piece of advice that you have for future students coming to Barcelona?

Never put off tomorrow what you can do today. There are so many sites and places to explore in the city, so take advantage of the time you have because it will be over before you know it. Make sure you get to all the places you want to see so you don’t regret it!
