Colorful

Explain why you chose those words.

Barcelona is one of the most colorful cities I have ever seen! The architecture, the food, the people, the beaches, and the energy is bright and bustling!

What was your favorite place to eat in Barcelona? Favorite food?

There are too many places to choose from! I loved eating veggie paella and sipping sangria outside in the Placa Reial. And I loved so many of the great tapas spots. If I had to pick, I would say enjoying the exotic fruits from La Boqueria market is unlike anything I have ever experienced!

If you had one perfect day in Barcelona where would you go, and what would you do?

I would just walk and explore as much of the city as I could!

What is one piece of advice that you have for future students coming to Barcelona?

Stay as long as you possibly can and really appreciate every moment that you’re there! It will go by so fast and be over before you know it. Soak up as much of the culture, and the city itself as you can. Also, try to stay positive and calm even if negative situations arise. Things always happen that you don’t plan, but having a good attitude is the most important!

What do you think makes Barcelona unique?

The energy is unlike any city I have ever been to! Between the incredible architecture, the beaches, the food, the nightlife, and the people, it is otherworldly! I cannot wait until I have the opportunity to go back!
