This is my last week in Barcelona so I’m trying to squeeze in all the good sights. I’m trying my best to refrain from shopping because my biggest fear is for me to get to the airport and my bag weigh over 50 pounds because of my shopping habit!

Bershka has by far been my favorite non-American store here in Barcelona. So I’m doing my best to stay out of there, H&M and Shana.

On Sunday my roommate (Leah) and I decided to go on a little boat tour. You buy the tickets near the Barcelona Port before you walk over the bridge to go to Maremagnum (18,50€). Before I got on the boat I had the BEST hot dog from a stand right next to the dock! Probably not a good idea since I was getting on a boat in the next 20 minutes, but everything went okay – no mishaps. The boat cruise was on the “Catamaran Orsom” and we got to hear live jazz music and get a free drink from the bar. There’s also an area for you to lay and tan that they called the Sun Lounge.

Seeing Barcelona from the sea was GREAT! On the cruise you can see the Barcelona World Trade Centre, the Mountjuïc cable car up above, Port Olimpic, the Barcelona harbor and Port Vell. It was well worth the money and I had a great time! After that, we went to the beach for a while. Later on in the week, we attempted to go inside the Barcelona Cathedral (near Plaza Catalunya) but wasn´t allowed in because my shoulders were not covered. Hopefully I can squeeze in a visit before Sunday because the entrance is free from 8:00am – 12:00pm and again from 5:00pm-7:00pm.
