INOUT Hostel - Barcelona SAE Blog

Barcelona never fails to surprise me. Something uniquely wonderful can be found in every nook and cranny of this city, and I seem to have stumbled upon yet another marvelous nook of Barcelona called the INOUT Hostel.

Located 15 to 20 minutes from downtown Barcelona, it is one of the greenest, most naturally beautiful nooks I have visited here.  INOUT hostel is, yet, another something special that Barcelona has to offer.

The F.G.C. runs straight from Plaҫa Catalunya to Baixador de Vallvidrera. As soon as you step off of the train, all you can see are trees and all you can smell is fresh air. There is a bit of a hike up to the hostel (about five minutes), but who doesn’t need a little exercise these days?  The building is surrounded by trees, has space for about 190 people, outdoor areas, playgrounds, a swimming pool, library, restaurant, free wifi, should I keep going?

What most reviewers fail to include in their comments about INOUT is the fact that this hostel run as a non-profit, employing those with disabilities.  The hostel allows visitors to participate in their daily work to learn and appreciate the work of their disabled staff.  Every facility is adapted for people with mobility handicaps and accommodates for all kinds of receptions and events.  This hostel isn’t just a place to stay; it is a place to have an experience.
